For approximately ninety minutes each week we practice gentle yoga postures to positively affect health and wellbeing during pregnancy. However, the yoga classes are not only for pregnancy, they are preparation for childbirth. We practice positions for labour, together with breathing exercises, visualization, and affirmations for birth, pelvic floor exercises and relaxation. We consider optimal foetal positioning (OFP) and lifestyle changes to encourage baby into a favourable position for birth.
