Pregnancy Retreat

Life can be jam packed even when you’re not pregnant. Throw in midwife appointments, getting the house ready and attending antenatal classes and you can soon feel overwhelmed and exhausted.

 

Take time out from your busy life to relax, bond with your baby and celebrate this special time at our exclusive Retreat for expectant mums. 

 

You’ll leave the Retreat feeling nourished, refreshed and excited for your birthing day.

 

This Retreat will take place at the luxury Taylor Place Studio, Dorking and is brought to you by Saara Vance Yoga and Birth & More founder and instructor, Rose Scott. Both Saara and Rose are mums themselves and pregnancy yoga teachers. Rose is also a hypnobirthing instructor, focusing on the full four trimesters of well being for mums and babies. Rose and Saara are passionate about supporting women to have the positive birth they deserve.

 

At the Retreat you’ll come together with other expectant mums to connect, ease pregnancy aches and pains with gentle yoga, deeply relax and have a calm space to learn powerful hypnobirthing techniques and prepare for your birth. 

Following the Retreat you’ll also get access to a wealth of additional resources to support your journey to positive birth. Including, Birth & More Digital Antenatal Course including demos of three birth breaths and Six Hypnobirthing Audios​ and comprehensive Guide to Birth Planning.

 

As if that wasn’t enough you will also take home a gorgeous goodie bag of self-care goodies including self-heating eye mask and Hot Tea Mama tea.

Retreat Agenda:

  • Welcome drinks 

  • Circle Time: A chance to let go of fear around birth. Includes journaling and a positive affirmation exercise

  • Gentle Pregnancy Yoga flow to ease your pregnant body and teach active birth positions

  • Guided Hypnobirthing exercises for deep relaxation 

  • A light brunch and chance to chat to other expectant mums

  • The Mind Body Connection: What is Hypnobirthing & How to Practice it

  • Birth Planning Exercise including Birth Plan Template

  • Mindful Close

 

The retreat is suitable for expectant mums from 12 weeks but with it's focus on birth preparation may be more appealing to those in second and third trimesters.

It’s no secret that having a baby is a huge transition into motherhood. There are highs and lows, days when you feel like you’re smashing it and others when it feels like the longest day ever! 

 

You’ll have heard the phrase: “You can’t pour from an empty cup.” Easier said than done right?!

 

But finding time for yourself when you have a baby can be impossible. That’s why this Retreat includes your baby.

 

The Retreat offers you a calm space to reconnect with yourself and a community of mum’s all going through the same things you are. You’ll leave the Retreat feeling uplifted, refreshed and recharged.

Rose is also a hypnobirthing and baby massage instructor, focusing on the full four trimesters of well-being for mums and babies. Rose and Saara are passionate about supporting women on their journey into motherhood.

 

At the Retreat you’ll come together with other mums to connect, gently move your body with postnatal yoga and fun yoga for baby, unwind and learn vital First Aid techniques from Feola at Daisy First Aid.

 

As if that wasn’t enough you will also take home a gorgeous goodie bag of self-care goodies including self-heating eye mask and Hot Tea Mama tea. Baby massage oil is also provided.

  • Circle Time: A chance to release any worries, receive support from other mums and learn some practical mindfulness techniques.

  • Gentle postnatal yoga and baby yoga fun

  • A light brunch and chance to chat to other expectant mums

  • Mini First Aid class delivered by Feola from Daisy First Aid

  • Introduction to baby massage

  • Mindful Close

 

The Retreat is recommended for mums with babies not yet crawling. Please note, postnatal yoga is suitable from 6 weeks postpartum or 10 weeks after assisted delivery or abdominal birth. If you wish to attend before those milestones, please email to discuss before booking.
