Preparing to give birth for the first time is a big deal! You don't know how you'll cope, how long it'll take or when it'll even happen (due dates are guess dates after all!). You want that dreamy insta-perfect birth experience but everyone keeps sharing horror stories, your midwife appointments are rushed and you're just feeling completely overwhelmed.
I get it. I really do.
That was my husband and I when we were expecting our first baby and it's how most couples feel when they start my classes so you are not alone.
But I'm here to help! My classes and my personalised support as well as the wider Birth & More Community will leave you feeling empowered, supported and even excited for birth and more!
The Birth & More Antenatal Course will inform you about birth and teach lots of practical techniques that you and your birth partner can use to encourage more efficient and more comfortable birth. We'll also cover infant feeding and a wealth of other hot topics such as starting solids, life with a newborn, infant sleep and birth recovery in a series of online modules with local experts. Plus you get my personalised support and can contact me anytime after booking until well after your baby is born. Couples who attend, also receive an exclusive discount off Baby First Aid classes with Daisy First Aid

Elsa, first time mum
"I managed to birth her vaginally with only one very minor tear and I really believe that's down to what you taught Nathan and I!"

Justine, second time mum
"No intervention or examinations and a lot quicker than my first! 4.5 hours from first contraction, and remained standing throughout with a couple of paracetamol."

Ellen, first time mum
"So the active labour I would say lasted around 6 hours all without any pain relief I can’t believe I did it!! Massively put it down to my hypnobirthing."
Most of my ladies will start with my popular Pregnancy Yoga Classes after their first scan. They'll learn how to move in labour as well as lots of birth tips and make friends.
Then you want to be taking your Antenatal Classes towards the end of your second trimester and into your third, before you're too tired to take it in but not so early that you aren't ready to think about birth yet.
It's a good idea to get your spot booked as soon as you're ready and then you can relax as one big item is ticked off the list! You can book onto my Antenatal Course for as little as £50.
The advantage of taking my Antenatal Classes in Dorking is that we'll be in touch from when you reserve your spot right through to your baby being born and beyond with my postnatal classes, workshops and coffee mornings.
I'm not a big anonymous brand, I'm just a local mum who delivers up-to-date, quality classes and personalised service and plenty of tlc! Check out my Instagram account to get a feel for my business and personality to see if we'd be a good match. So if you're looking for a pregnancy massage therapist or where to buy second-hand baby things in Dorking for example you can contact me anytime if you're booked onto my courses.
On a serious note, I am also a member of the Maternity Voices Partnership of East Surrey Hospital so if you're under the care of SASH Maternity and need a contact at the hospital or aren't sure if you're getting the right level of care, then I can also help you.

- Two hour session using The Mindful Breastfeeding School Approach - On-going support including the option of a postnatal video call - Partners are encouraged to attend since their support can be invaluable on your breastfeeding journey. I know from personal experience just how challenging breastfeeding can be. I also see so many women who feel grief at giving up before they were ready. This is why I completed training with The Mindful Breastfeeding School and now offer a fully comprehensive breastfeeding workshop that incorporates mindfulness techniques to set you up for a positive journey. Expect to learn how milk production works, how to support your breastfeeding journey including proven mindfulness techniques, how to know if your baby is getting enough, positions and attachment for comfortable feeding sessions. We will also look at your breastfeeding goals and what you need to achieve them. I’ll demonstrate paced bottle feeding and discuss some basics around pumping breast milk as this is a common area new mums wish to know. You will be sent information about local breastfeeding support for when your baby arrives. Includes a comprehensive guide summarising the content covered and a list of local experts and support groups, as well as an optional check-in call once baby has arrived. You'll also get access to my Digital Preparing to Breastfeed Masterclass should you want to revisit anything covered. Additional digital resources include: access to a Guided Relaxation recording to support your breastfeeding journey.
