Gentle Beginnings: A course for newborns
Your soft landing after birth
Mondays 12.30pm - 2.00 pm
This unique course will gently support you through the Fourth Trimester. Everything you need is provided including refreshments. Each class includes 3 elements: - time to rest & reset with techniques to calm your nervous system. - open circle time to share and listen. Connecting you to other mums going through the same things. - gentle education on key topics to build your confidence whilst caring for your new baby. All in a calm, welcoming environment with hot drinks and homemade cake! Come as you are and feel less alone with this judgement-free community. This course is suitable for mums with babies within 12 weeks old. Many attend when baby is 2/3 weeks old. Mums often book whilst still pregnant so they know the support will be there when they need it. If your baby doesn't arrive or arrives too close to the course start I can transfer you to the next term. Rose has extensive postnatal training and hands on experience supporting new mums. She is skilled at holding space and creating an environment that will leave you feeling nurtured and uplifted. Rose also has a broad network of specialists working with postnatal mums and new babies and can sign post you where appropriate.

Baby Massage
The perfect first baby class, suitable from 8 weeks
Mondays 11:00am-12:00pm
Learn the beautiful art of massage and connect with your baby in a calm sanctuary. Everything you need is provided. The classes are pressure-free, look after your baby when they need you. The routine is progressive so if you baby doesn't want to participate one week, you'll learn that segment in the following class. Each class includes 3 elements: - time to rest & reset with techniques to soothe your nervous system. - baby social time with songs and gentle movement followed by their calming massage time. - your social time with hot drinks and biscuits! Suitable from 2 - 6 months or rolling - the ideal first baby class. Baby massage is a wonderful way to bond with your baby and learn positive touch techniques to soothe them. There are many benefits to practicing baby massage for yourself as well as your baby. Including, ways to soothe digestive, teething or skin comfort, helping you to relax your nervous system and support bonding, age-appropriate sensory stimulation for baby and treatment often promotes deeper sleep when used regularly. By the end of the course you'll have learnt a full body massage routine and some songs and stretches to enjoy with your baby. You may choose to continue your practice at home and as baby grows.

Mum & Baby Yoga
An interactive class combining postnatal yoga and baby yoga fun, suitable after postnatal check (10 weeks after abdominal birth)
Tuesdays 10:00am-11:00am
Venue: D2D Studio, Curtis Road, Dorking
A chance to reconnect with your body whilst having fun with your baby. Everything you need is provided. In this course we deliberately practice the same routine so your baby becomes familiar and reassured. It also makes it easier for you to rejoin the group if you need to pause to tend to your baby. The sequence incorporates movement with your baby and plenty of songs and interaction to entertain them. We also include some pelvic floor work and dedicated baby yoga time! Mobile babies are welcome, pre-crawling and more toys can be set out for them to explore. There is also time to chat together after yoga over a drink and biscuit. You're welcome to repeat the course for as long as you enjoy it and find it beneficial. Babies love repetition and routine and will enjoy the classes even more with familiarity. It's the perfect start to your postnatal recovery.
